Speech Pathology Services
Speech Pathology Services is a private practice, with a focus on assisting children and adults with communication and feeding/swallowing issues. Effective diagnosis and therapy interventions aim to achieve a positive communication outcome. Home, clinic based and tele-health flexible therapy sessions are offered, with individualised programs delivered by an experienced speech pathologist.
Based in Seven Hills in modern facilities, sessions are available in the clinic, childcare centres, schools, nursing homes and private homes (on request). Jenni maintains close links with the Mater Hospitals in Special Care Nurseries and with adolescent cleft-craniofacial patients.
Services provided include assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children with: speech sound difficulties, receptive and expressive language delay, cleft palate and voice disorders, stuttering, literacy/phonological awareness issues, childhood apraxia of speech and feeding/transitioning to oral feeding. Fussy eaters are assisted by working closely with a dietitian and OT using SOS strategies.
Services for adults include: assessment, diagnosis and treatment for speech & language issues, voice disorders, stuttering and feeding/swallowing issues.
Easy referral for hearing testing, psychology, occupational and physiotherapy services is available with other local practices that we work closely with. Hearing screening is offered on-site for 4 years+.
Hicaps claiming on the spot from your health fund is available for your convenience and no doctors referral is needed. Jenni is registered with Medicare and can see clients under the Chronic Disease Management Scheme (CDM) Team Care arrangements, via GP referral. Self-managed NDIS referrals are accepted.
